Subject: Any subject, except Medicine. The subject area should be relevant to the social, scientific and economic development of India.
(7 scholarships available)
Level: Second Bachelor's.
Duration: Maximum of two years beginning October.
Eligibility: Candidates who are, or will shortly be graduates, who gain admission to read for a second Bachelor's degree and who would be unable to study without financial assistance, to take up the place. Candidates who propose to read for a second Bachelor's degree should already have a first class Bachelor's degree.
Value: Full university and college fees and maintenance grant for living expenses, but will not provide for the costs of travel between India and the UK.
Method of application: Candidates who intend to read a Second Bachelor's degree should apply separately for entry to the University through the Oxford College Admissions Office. Scholarship Application forms are available from the address mentioned.
For Scholarship Application: Candidates who have first obtained admission to their course of study at the University can complete scholarship application forms to reach the International Office by April 1.

(5 scholarships for India)
Level: Second Bachelor's (as an affiliated Student)
Eligibility: Students of outstanding academic merit who have gained an offer of a place at Cambridge University to pursue undergraduate studies as an affiliated student from October.
Age Limit: 26 years
Value: Tuition fees, a maintenance allowance and airfares.
Method of application: Applicants who propose to study for a second Bachelor's degree as an affiliated student must have outstanding academic qualifications. They must apply for admission directly to a Cambridge College of their choice and submit completed application forms for admission to the College by October 15, for entry to the following year. If the applicant is offered a place the College will apply to the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust on his/her behalf for a British Chevening/Nehru Centenary Shared Scholarship, and for all other scholarships offered by the Trust for which the applicant is eligible.
Closing date: 15th October for the following year.

Level: Undergraduate
Duration: One year in the first instance, renewable subject to satisfactory progress.
Eligibility: Applicants with outstanding results in GCE 'A' level (or equivalent) examinations. Educational achievements to date, and confidential references, will be taken into account. Applicants must be liable to pay tuition fees at the 'full-cost' rate for overseas students. Only candidates who have firmly accepted an offer of a place, can be considered for the scholarships. Application forms will be issued automatically to candidates who make Hull their first choice; others will not be considered.
Value: All tuition fees
